Who We Are?

Established since March 25^th 2012, Sahabat Pulau is a community-based, sustainable action-oriented project involving local youth and children to have a better life through integration project based on education and social business in remote areas.

Our Goal

Improving the level of education through the community development projects in the rural area. EDUCATION, EDUCATE, EDUCATED.

Our Targets

Rising the number of the youth volunteerism Indonesia.
Supporting the kids to have more interests in education or study.
Lifting up the family condition by socio-entrepreneurships.
Increasing the number of participation from the society to solve

Founders

Rita Meilinawaty

Media expertist, graduated human capital management and broadcast TV production. Alumni of Canada World Youth Program, Kelas Inspirasi, RUBI Indonesia Mengajar and Youth NGO Constulant. Conselor of Advisory Sahabat
Pulau since 2012 – present.

Hendriyadi Bachtiar

Bankers, finance and accountant background. Alumni Jokolna Awardee and MIT – Harvard Booth Camp 2016, created Sahabat Pulau as a giving back project to our beloved country, for better Indonesia.

Devi Indriawati

Forestry graduated. National expert staff for Senator from West Kalimantan. She is totally volunteer role for Indonesian youth as a Advisor of Sahabat Pulau.
